Niatsu GmbH is a Swiss startup that is developing a B2B SaaS platform for the food industry, enabling companies to automatically calculate their carbon footprint at product level. Niatsu uses machine learning and an extensive database to map Scope 3 emissions (e.g. for ingredients and packaging) in a structured and scalable manner.

With its Steasy® product, Nexenic AG has developed a portable mini-steamer in a lunchbox format, which allows users to gently reheat their meals on the go without the need for a microwave or power socket. The battery-powered steamer aims to make lunch accessible to students, office workers and construction workers, with a focus on convenience and health.

CustomSurg AG is developing an AI-powered software solution for the planning and treatment of complex bone fractures, in which standard implants are optimised to suit individual patients. Using 3D models and biomechanical simulations, the startup makes surgical treatment measurable, more objective and more efficient.

The Swiss startup fluidbot AG is developing an autonomous inspection robot, combined with smart sensor technology and software analysis, to monitor drinking water distribution networks for leaks, corrosion or other damage. This enables pipe breaks to be detected at an early stage and repaired before major outages or significant water losses occur.

Ionic Wind AG is developing a solid-state airflow technology in Switzerland that does not require rotating fans, utilising electrostatic fields instead to move air. The focus is on cooling electronic and data centre hardware, where, according to the company, the technology can enable energy savings of up to 60%.

The startup NextGas GmbH develops modular biogas plants specifically for small and medium-sized farms, enabling them to generate their own electricity and heat from farm manure. The company uses its own process and a container-solution (‘PowerBox’), which can be easily installed without the usual large-scale plant dimensions and high investment costs.
